    My Approach to Therapy

I assume you’re already trying your best, doing everything you can given what you’re going through. You probably wouldn’t be reaching out if the problems you were facing had clear solutions. I'm not here to diagnose you or hand you a one-size-fits-all solution.

Instead, we'll stress test the stories you've been carrying. They are often more brittle than they feel, and part of our work is finding a more complete picture that includes how you want to move forward based on your own values.

Ways I Can Help Through Online Therapy in California

Below you will find the services I offer to individuals, couples, families and professionals across California. Sessions are available online statewide and in person in Los Angeles.

  • Individual Therapy

One on one sessions for when the pressure has built up, a decision feels impossible, or you just want to think things through with someone who has no stake in the outcome.

  • Couples Therapy

For couples who want to communicate better, work through a specific problem, or figure out honestly what the best path forward looks like together.

  • Family Therapy

A grounded, practical approach to family problems. We work tackling problems together, rather than assigning blame.

  • Burnout and Work Stress Therapy

When exhaustion has gone beyond tiredness and work has started to feel impossible to sustain. Therapy helps you understand what is driving it and what to do about it.

  • Anxiety Therapy

You can be a high-functioning persona and still live with persistent worry, a heavy blanket of anxiety, and the kind of stress that follows you home from work. Most of our day-to-day anxiety, that kind that is particularly difficult to identify, is connected to uncertainty about something important. We work together to shine a light on life’s problems, and that helps people feel a greater sense of purpose and control.

  • Life Transitions Therapy

Career changes, relationship shifts, loss, parenthood, relocation. Big transitions are hard even when they are wanted. Therapy helps you chart a course of your choosing as you navigate major changes.

  • Addressing Decision Fatigue

For executives, attorneys and professionals who must bear the weight of making frequent high-stakes decisions. Therapy helps remind us of what values guide us, and achieve clarity that we are making the best decision we can at the time we have to make that decision, based on the information that is reasonably available to us.

  • Anger Management Therapy

For professionals and individuals who feel their anger has started to affect their relationships, their career or their reputation. We examine your relationship to anger - recognizing that sometimes anger can be helpful or welcome - and together we design ways to move anger from something that controls you into a role that serves you better.

No issue is too big or too small.

Maybe it’s something petty at work. Maybe it’s your relationship. Maybe you are worried about your child. Or your finances. Or politics. Or the world.

Reaching out is often the hardest part. But once you do, that’s the minute that you are no longer carrying the weight alone.
